My love for health began with physical fitness which grew into the nursing profession. My first Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology served as a stepping stone into the health profession. As a personal trainer I was able to work with many different personalities, enhancing my communication skills and building my confidence level. While training, I always knew I was going to progress towards a career where I was more involved with healthcare. This led to my transition into the operating room as an anesthesia tech. As an Operating Room (OR) nurse I have hands on experience aiding in the care for patients. This position allows me to apply what I have learned thus far in the nursing program and further enhance my skills. I am fascinated by the human body, and am motivated by helping people overcome their health discrepancies. I am excited to have such a rewarding career as a nurse, where the education and possibilities are endless. Specialties: Personal trainer from female adolescent through the elderly population. Certified Adult CPR/AED provider through the American Heart Association.
